The cost of an illustrated book cover (or special formats like dust jackets or paperbacks) follows the standard illustration rates plus a layout and typography fee.

✧ Any order or inquiry is done through email or Instagram.

✦ Payment (USD currency) is done through a paypal invoice beforehand. Without it, I can't proceed with the commission.
If you wish to pay half-upfront you should notify it, sketch will be done after first payment and coloring/rendering will be done after second payment.

✧ Delivery time is approximately six (6) weeks, depending on the complexity of the drawing and communication with the client. If there is any situation that delays the order, I will let you know in advance.

If you have a deadline you should notify before hand (It may mean an additional cost if you need a faster delivery than agreed)

✦ You will receive the hd quality illustration in PNG and/or JPEG format in your mail.

✧ Non commercial covers (free platforms like wattpad) cannot be used for printing, publishing or used in a payment format.

✧ Prices can change at any time by demand.

✦ If you have commissioned a personal use piece and you wish to purchase the comercial rights, it can be done at any time.

✧ If you wish to have the additional version of your commissioned character with no background (PNG) it must be requested early, otherwise it may increase the price.

PAYMENT

✦ Base prices are the minimum amount. The final price is customized according to the specifics of the commission.

✧ Payment must be made via PayPal, and only through an invoice. Full payment must be received before work begins.
ㅤ
✦ You can choose to pay half of the total price upfront. The first payment must be received to start the sketch. The second payment must be received to start with the coloring and rendering phase.

✧ The illustration will not be delivered if payment has not been done or received.ㅤ
ㅤ
REFUNDS
ㅤ
✧ A refund is available before work begins, with a 20% processing fee.
ㅤ
✦ If the commission has been started, refunds cannot be done.
ㅤ
✧ If after a certain amount of time, you do not answer and we lost communication, you will lose any right to a refund.
ㅤ
✦ Once the commission has been done and delivered, no refund is possible. (Includes sketch and final piece, in case of half-up payment)

PROCESS
ㅤ
✧ The client agrees on signing a commission contract upon payment.
ㅤ
✦ Three (3) rounds of corrections to the sketch, three (3) corrections to the base colors and three (3) minor changes to the final piece are included in the price. If you wish an extra change after those, an additional price may be included.

✧ If you wish to see images of the work in progress you may ask (moderately) for it without any extra charge. No changes can be done at that moment

✦ A big change that alters the original idea will be taken as a new commission, and will need to be charged as it.
ㅤ
✧ If there is an error that was my fault, it will be fixed and free of charge.
ㅤ
✦ The client is responsible for proofing and approving the work provided by the artist in each corresponding phase.ㅤ

COPYRIGHT
ㅤ
✧ All personal use illustrations will include my watermark. In case of commercial use, you must add the credits (on the back cover: published books).
ㅤ
✦ Credits must be given to the artist (@ariadaghost) on any platform where the artwork is uploaded.
ㅤ
✧ Any of the images provided by the artist CAN'T be modified, altered or edited without my consent. If you wish to change something you may contact me.
ㅤ
✦ I have the right to publish the work on my profile, use it on my portfolio or any media of my own unless agreed otherwise.

✧ I have the right to reject any commission or specification.
ㅤ
✦ Client owns the characters but the artist owns the rights of the illustration. You cannot claim the artwork as your own.

✧ Uploading, training, editing or using any of my illustrations into Artificial Intelligence (AI) is strictly prohibited.
ㅤ
✦ Any unauthorized use of the work by the client or third parties will be considered a violation of copyright and can be subject to legal action.
ㅤ
✧ The client is responsible for securing the necessary rights or permissions for any materials they provide for the commission. The client agrees to hold the artist harmless for any legal claims arising from the use of these materials.
ㅤ
✦ The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses or permissions for characters, scenes or materials that are protected by third-party copyrights or trademarks.
